About me:

I am a mixed methods researcher interested in multidimensional poverty measurement, particularly in higher education. I am also interested in social statistics, human development, quantitative methods and mathematical modelling. I am based at the University of the Free State in South Africa and and I hold a PhD in Development Studies as well as graduate and undergraduate degrees in Mathematical Statistics and Actuarial Science.

Since my work on poverty measurement is in welfare economics (under development studies), I am most aligned with the global food security multidisciplinary strand. However, I am interested in broader global developmental issues. My main aim is to use my statistical skills to measure global developmental indicators
